Chateau Palmer

Palmer has been quite a surprising Chateau and it is very much under valued for some of its top wine...
Remember 4 years ago, Lisboa Hotel's restaurant cellar had about 150 bottle of 1961 Palmer. Thta might be the world largest collection of 1961 Chauteau Palmer!

Some of the wine has to be Re-corked, The owner of the restaurant invited Palmer technical staff to come to Macao to perform the recork works!
They brough their equipment, and a team of two wine experts to perform the recork: a process of removal of the old and spoiled cork with certain equipment, and taste see if the wine are still in their live condition. Top up with other bottle for the loss due to leakage after year of storage. The total Charges for such record took Mr. Stephen Ho over 1 million dollars.

At that time 1961 Palmer was valued about HKD$50,000 a bottle, The wine were about 8 Millions!

We had removed all taxation on imported wine from 80% to 0% 2008. Hence we can really enjoy the good wine at a reasonable prices now!

Attached is a wine dealer price for Chateau Palmer! A RP99 Palmer is now HKD25,000! A Real good price for a three hours wine tasting
